Somenath Mukherjee

Early Life

  • An eminent name in the field of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology
  • He had completed his Bachelor in the field of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from AYJNIHH (ERC) Kolkata under West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
  • He started his early career as a consultant Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist in Peerless Hospital and Apollo Gleneagles Hospital for more than 18 years.
  • As a practitioner he was quite successful and popular as a speech language pathologist among speech and hearing impaired patients.
  • In 2006, he along with his 10 friends founded Hearing Plus and Speech Plus.

Research Work and Speaker

  • Participated in Project Undertaken by Applied Statistics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute named ‘The Effect of Traffic Noise on the Hearing Ability of the School Students of Kolkata’
  • He was one of the spokesperson as a part of the MDT team at the workshop on Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) through AAF and Skill Sprout of New Jersey, USA at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata in 2011
  • He was one of the spokesperson as a part of MDT team on ‘Feeding Difficulties – Role of MDT’ at the scientific workshop on “Nutrition and Behavior in Pediatric Practice” at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata in 2011
  • He was one of the faculty members of 49th Indian Speech and Hearing Association Conference held at Kolkata 2017. At the preconference he presented the topic – Planning a start–up in Private Practice – Technical Aspect.
  • He was one of the faculty members of 49th Indian Speech and Hearing Association Conference held at Kolkata 2017. At the main conference he presented the topic – ASLP as an Entrepreneur.

  • Sathi Das had completed her graduation in Psychology from University of Calcutta and post graduation in Counseling Psychology from West Bengal State University. She did her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from University of Calcutta.
  • After completing her M. Phil degree, she worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Department of Psychology, University of Calcutta for a period of 1 year.

  • She had presented a paper namely “Unique Links Between Metacognitive beliefs and Executive Functioning in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders & Depression “in XXIV Convention of National Academy of Psychology, held at Bhopal, from 12- 14th December, 2014.

  • A science graduate (B.Sc.) from Vidyasagar University with B.A.S.P.L. in the field of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from International Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (IIRS, Bhubaneswar).
  • She started her early career as a consultant Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist at Hearing Plus and Speech Plus with a special focus on Speech-language pathology, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, stuttering and neurogenic dysphagia cases. She has experience of more than 4 years.
  • As a practitioner she is successful and popular as a Speech-Language Pathologist among speech and hearing-impaired patients.

 

Mrs PRIYANKA ROY CONSULTANT PSYCHOLOGIST

EARLY LIFE:

  • Completed RCI registered Post Graduation Diploma in Disability Rehabilitation Management (PGDDRM) from National Institute for Locomotor Disability (NILD) (2017), With Registration No. being, A60278.
